Community Pharmacy Black Country Services Events- June 19th & 27th

Community Pharmacy Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton (formerly known as LPCs), invite you to attend a Service training evening.
Any pharmacist can attend, including locums working in the Black Country, plus any dispenser currently involved or wishes to be involved in the delivery or triaging of Pharmacy Services.
Dates: Wednesday 19th June 2024 or Thursday 27th June 2024
Time: 6.30 pm (Food – Buffet) for a 7.00 pm start (if your pharmacy closes at 7 pm, it would still be okay for you to attend, even if you arrive slightly later) (aim is to finish by 9.30 pm)

What will the evening cover?
- What services are available for you in your locality and how do you sign up for them?
- What do GPs want from Community Pharmacies with regards to Pharmacy Services?
- Quality delivery of services, especially Hypertension Case Finding, Contraception, Pharmacy First and DMS.
- What do pharmacies want from GP practices?
- How can you manage the day job and deliver services at the same time?
- What IT solutions are available to make your lives easier?
- How can everyone benefit from the NHS App?
- How can you benefit from AccuRx?
- How can you get your GP practice to send you more referrals?
- How can you get your team to support the services workload? What role will dispensers and Accredited Checking Technicians play going forward?
Please note: All attendees will be given free printed services promotional materials for your pharmacies, as well as a free Pharmacy First Triaging tool to support filtering out patients who will or won’t pass the gateway criteria before they are referred to the pharmacist.
