Declarations of interest

Michelle Dyoss is a Public Health Specialist and started working at Dudley PCT and LPC as Community Pharmacy Development Officer in Feb 2007, through to April 2017 with The Office of Public Health at Dudley MBC. After gaining her MSc in Public Health, she now heads her own consultancy company, Selph Consultancy, and is also one of the four directors of Central Health Solutions Ltd. (CHSL).

Her role is unique as she is funded by Dudley LPC for three days a week. Previous to this role she worked for Solihull Care Trust and Birmingham Children’s Hospital although she started her career in a small independent community pharmacy in Walsall.

She is responsible for developing local enhanced services with Dudley LPC and CHSL, and supporting Dudley pharmacies to deliver those local services. She has increased services from four to ten in her time working with the LPC, as well as implementing the two successful programmes of ‘Think Pharmacy’ and Healthy Living Pharmacies. Michelle was appointed Vice-Chair in March 2020.

In her spare time, Michelle likes to read, watch horror films and organise nights out with friends. She runs regularly, usually four to six times a week, and has completed the Birmingham Half-Marathon.
